Stuart Berman, "Gift to the Living" ,"The Soul of Judaism ", was born in Brooklyn, New York. He graduated Hofstra University and studied creative writing at San Francisco State University.
He has been guest speaker at various synagogues, most recently at the Adams Street Shul in Newton MA. He is also a Kaiser Hospice volunteer, working with the terminally ill.
Stuart is currently retired from the Parks Department of the City of Berkeley and working on a book on Jewish spirituality. .
